Strictly speaking this release is OPTIONAL, however if you are a MasterNode operator then you MUST apply this release.
Operators of other nodes or wallets may chose to upgrade or not. This release fixes a bug in the tiered masternode implementation that was causing 100M MasterNodes to get rewarded too frequently compared to other tiers.
Read the release notes for an easy way to upgrade your masternodes on Linux. Once the majority of masternodes have upgraded, the new reward rules will automatically take effect.
